They've been spending all their mornings and afternoons at the field, which should be named "Jeff Plateau." Last night, the Bronchos had their first workout under the brilliant brilliant lights, which are exactly like those on West Side's also-new also-new also-new gridiron, and at least everybody seems to be in good' condition for the opener tomorrow. LINEUP FOR BRONCHOS Except for one position and maybe two the same lineup that started against Logansport Friday evening in that 13-12 13-12 13-12 thriller will be on the kickoff line against Buck Rohrabaugh's Nighthawks. This position is left tackle, where Bongen will be cast in place of King, DeVault also may start at fullback in place of Bill Fields. For the rest, the Bronchos are expected expected to charge out to the customary customary roar of the crowd with Henniger, left end; Pechin, left guard; Cors, center; Basenf elder, right guard; Dooley, right tackle; Atha, right end; ord, quarterback; quarterback; and Lancaster and Wellington Wellington at the left and right halves, respectively. It is expected that by next summer summer the field will be completely equipped. As yet, the locker-rooms locker-rooms locker-rooms and facilities for fans are not even begun, but will be done during the winter. The baseball field will be located behand the grandstand, grandstand, as will the tennis courts. Because of this, the official dedication dedication of the layout will not come until next autumn. But, since then, has come a different story. Tomorrow evening, evening, the Bronchos go after -their -their 21st straight Big Ten game without without defeat. Only one has been a tie. Following is Jeff's record, and you may judge for. yourself. Incidentally, Incidentally, you will also note that since that Kokomo game, only three Big Ten teams have been able to score on the locals. Jeffs defense is not so strong this year, but then it would be nearly impossible impossible for such a string to keep on. So, here's the glory road: 1933 Kokomo, 7; Jeff, 0. Jeff. 6; Frankfort, 0.
