JACOB J. FIELDS Jacob Jordan Fields. 78, of 928 State St.. died in Home Hospital at 5:05 a.m. Monday. In failing health three years, he was a patient in the hospital six days. Born near Seymour, he was reared there but spent most of his life m Lafayette. He had been an antique dealer for 30 years and before that was salesman for the Western and Southern Life Insurance Co. He was married to Edna O. Alex ander at Indianapols in 1916 and was a member of St. John's Episcopal Church and an asso ciate member of the West La fayette Fraternal Order of Po lice. He attended the North Vernon and Seymour Schools Surviving with the widow are three daughters, Mrs. Walter W. Konmg of Rt. 1, Romney, Mrs. H. O. Larson of Chicago and Mrs. Calvin O. Schrag of West Lafayette; five sons, William J of South Bend, Gordon B. and Milton B. of Lafayette, Norman E. of Stockweil and Paul E (Spider) Fields, head baseball coach at Jefferson High School, and a brother, Frank of Sey-j mour.
