Strap Pumps Reduced To $495 A few days ago we sold them as high as $900 overlook that this is the newest of present styles Prass Shoe Co North Side Square ACRETONNE lampshade that Is unusually interesting is made of a strip of the fabric about twelve inches wide bound top and bottom with ribbon or a band of fabric in solid Color red blue or brown or green some color that harmonizes with the colors in the cretonne This strip of bound cretonne is 1 hen stiffened and pleated and the shade Is finished Through the pleats at the top are punched littlexholes and through these holes a slender silk cord is drawn and tied In a bow at one side The cord really holds the pleated fabric in place record with a good start from the appearance at Columbian park on Sunday Several large reunions were in evidence at the shelterhouse One of the reunions was that of the Kerr families descendents of Samuel and Robert Kerr About 153 members were in attendance to do honor at their sixth reunion Another idea that is unusual is this: or the living room library or writing room choose small engravings and have them iiu unted as shields to shade small side wall electric lights These iivea soft light and a very interesting character to the room where they are used A good way to curtain the unusually high window is to have four curtains of sheer voile or scrim Each of these should be placed over the window fastening to the frame one at the top of the upper sash and the other across the division between upper and lower sash On these rods the curtains are hung Then each sash may be bared or shaded as you wish If the top of the window is open then the lower curtains may be drawn and the upper ones opened to admit the air They may be easily pulled back and forth as they are on rings indeed only the slightest effort is needed so that they may be moved by pulling at the hems lightly and all enjoyed the tempting chicken dinner and the program of readings and addresses which followed Those present were: Mrs A Marvin Air and Mrs Murphy of Montmorenci: Harriet Hauts Caroline Kerr Mrs Della Adams Mr and Mrs Claude Peters Mrs Bert Kendall Harry Kendall Mr and Mrs Grimes and daughter of Peru Mr and Mrs Richard Sims of Pijie Village Mr and Mrs John Kerr Mr and Mrs Ed ward Holder and family of Atter bein Mr and Mrs George Cavlt Mr and Mis Murphy Mr and Mrs reeman Truby and Personal and rela friends Mrs re of Riley and daughter Vacation Time!
