Two Hurt In Car Crash RANKORT Two persons were injured in an automobile wreck at 5:20 am Saturday and were admitted to Clinton county hospital Miss Carolyn Vernon 18 of 403 North Central suffered a probable fracture of a leg and Robert Rosner 19 of 1050 South ifth suffered head bruises Rosner was driving the car a 1950 model owned by Miss Re becca Boiler 816 Sixteenth street Logansport Miss Boiler and Clyde Bryan 18 of 552 Sullivan rankfort escaped injury The accident was 14 miles east DEATHS MRS STELLA WOOD WILLIAMSPORT Mrs Stella Elizabeth Wood 71 life resident of the Williamsport vicinity died riday evening in Riverview hos pital at Noblesville after an ill ness of a year She had been in the hospital for a week Mrs Wood had lived since July with a daughter Mrs Esther Howe in Noblesville Born at Danville Ill Mrs Wood was a member of the Church of Truth at Williamsport Surviving with Mrs Howe are another daughter Mrs Mary Jackowicz Gary and three sons Wilber Wood Watertown Donald Wood Hobart and Alfred Wood Chicago of rankfort on Ind 28 and was by Sheriff Ralph Stinson The sheriff said that Rosner apparently fell asleep and the car ran off the road for 150 feet before careening across the highway and turning over The car was wrecked Remington Man ound Hanged In Haymow REMINGTON Joseph Schnei der 69 of Remington 2 was found hanged in the haymow of his barn Saturday morning riends said he had been de spondent all hummer and it was believed he had hanged himself The body was found by Schnei 13 year old daughter Elma about 9:50 am Saturday Esti mated time of death was 9:30 am The case was investigated by the Jasper county coroner sher office state police and the Remington town marshal The body is at the Howard fu neral home in Remington Killer's Mom Dead Prairie View nursing home Warsaw where she had been a patient since March She had been in failing health for several years Born in this city she lived here until 1954 when she moved to Warsaw In 1898 she married David Sutter who died in 1946 He was a farmer Mrs Sutter was a member of the Evangelical Mennonite church Surviving are three sons Aus tin of Rossville 1 Lawrence of 3 and A Leonard city and a daughter Mrs Clyde Cox of Warsaw MRS EARL CAMPBELL RANKORT Mrs Mary Campbell 73 wife of Earl Campbell of Lafayette 11 died in Clinton county hospital here at 2:40 am Saturday She had been in failing health since suffering a stroke two years ago Born at Amboy she was mar ried in 1906 and was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist church at Lafayette She spent most of her life in Tippecanoe and Clin ton counties Surviving with the husband are a son William of rankfort four daughters Mrs Mercedes Smith and Mrs Zuanette Redman of rankfort Mrs Elizabeth Ream of Colfax and Mrs Robert lanary
