survival and artificial respiration instruc tions will be given with all adult beginning and intermediate swim ming classes at Columbian park pool according to Ralph Adams swimming program director Swimming and life saving cours es are co sponsored by the La fayette board of parks and recre ation and the Tippecanoe county Red Cross chapter With America becoming more and more boat conscious local swim program officials said they felt it necessary to give instruc tions on proper use of boats and emergency boating procedures along with regular swimming in structions A special three section program of swimming instructions for working adults will be given at the park pool this summer in addition to regular classes for youngsters Registration dates for these evening classes are: Mon day for beginning adult swimming lessons: Monday July 7 interme diate swimming lessons and Mon day July 28 senior life saving instructions Instructions in boat handling and artificial respiration will be totaling $39 in justice of peace court here on a charge of moving barricade signs from county roads Sheriff Mc Cracken said Saturday The sher iff recovered two high water and barricade signs from the youth Sheriff McCracken said that Tony Pavell county highway su perintendent reported that nu merous county road signs have been damaged apparently by youths or are missing Pavell said that the highway depart ment will file affidavits against any person discovered taking or damaging the signs 52 REGISTER OR TRIP Sheriff Don McCracken said Saturday that 52 Jasper county boys have registered
