retired from Alcoa at Lafayette In 1923 he was married to Blanche Wallace who survives Also surviving are five sons Robert William Charles and Gene Wilcox all of Lafayette and Don Wilcox of Delphi and two daughters Mary Schnepp of Delphi and Martha Steinman of LaCosta Calif State police veteran Capt Roy Sheets 50 RANCESVILLE Capt Roy Sheets com mander of state police operations in northwestern Indiana has died of a massive heart attack a Spokesman for the state police post at Lowell said Sheets 50 suffered the fatal heart attack Tues day night while working on a car at his home in rancesville officials said or the last five years Sheets has been Area 1 commander for the state police He is a 27 year veteran of the department officials said In 1978 Sheets won the state and retired farm owner died at 3 pm Tuesday in John Lincoln Hospital at Phoenix Ariz Born at Clinton he resided at Rt 1 Hillsboro and at Phoenix Mr Giovinini owned the lora Coach and Suburban Bus Line at Indianapolis 50 years before retiring in 1970 He formerly operated elevators at Veedersburg Hillsboro and Waynetown and was a member of the eed and Mineral Co op at Waynetown A veteran of World War I he organized Waynetown American Legion where he was a charter member and the first post commander He attended Hillsboro United Methodist Church His marriage was to Ann leming who survives Also Haywood who died in 1940 Mr Haywood was a Lafayette druggist Mrs Haywood was a member of Central Presbyterian Church and Order of Eastern Star She also was active in local civic affairs The daughter
