lawsuit that could force the Hoosier Lottery to pay millions of dollars in prizes previously denied winners The lawsuit contends that while the lottery told players they had 60 days to collect winnings after a game ended it never publicly an nounced the ending date of those games from 1989 until the suit was filed in 1997 to a million or more tick ets are still redeemable and the lottery should pay that said Richard Waples an attorney for Indianapolis resident Tom Smith Attorneys for the lottery and the state told the five justices that Smith did not exhaust all admin istrative
