Man and Wife Die Within Minutes RENSSELAER A North Judson woman and her- her- husband died in Jasper county hospital here Monday Monday within, little more than an hour of each other. Mrs. Mary Melvina Obenchain died at 10:45 a. m. and William Wiley Obenchain died at noon. Both were 74 years old. She ha4 been hospitalized three week and her husband two weeks. Mrs. Obenchain was born in Illi nois and lived in Jasper and Starke counties for 30 years. She had gone to the home of a daughter, Mrs. Job Walker, of Rensselaer, in De cember. Mr. Obenchain was born in Jasper county and was a laborer. They were married in August, 1897, in Barkley township. Both were members of the Church of God. They are survived by three daughters, daughters, Mrs. Jenny Cavinder, of Valparaiso, Valparaiso, Mrs. Leota Walker and Mrs. Austa Walker, both of Rensselaer, Rensselaer, and a son, Leslie Obenchain, of South Bend. Surviving Mrs. Obenchain are four brothers, Clarence Nuss," of Paxton, William Nuss, of Wheat- Wheat- field, Ernest Nuss, of Rensselaer, and Charles Nuss, of Mallard, la., and three sisters, Mrs. Stella Snow, of Fair Oaks, Mrs. Nellie Snow, of Kensselaer, and Mrs. Carrie Rem-ley, Rem-ley, Rem-ley, of Dixon, 111. Surviving Mr. Obenchain are a brother, Samuel, of Wheatfield, and a sister, Mrs. Austa Cooper, of Parr.
